Our story

We have been WestCanna BC since 2016, with our flagship at 700 West Broadway and our second store at 1286 Robson Street.

We began operating a decade ago as one of the few licensed dispensaries in the city of Vancouver, and today we are one of the premier dispensaries in greater Vancouver.

Our flagship at 700 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC is two blocks from Vancouver General. Our second store is at 1286 Robson Street, Vancouver, BC. Locals and visitors alike have been shopping with us since 2016.

What sets us apart is a deeply curated product selection and personal, knowledgeable service: curation, knowledge and culture.

All of our cannabis products are produced in Canada by Licensed Producers who’ve been vetted and regulated by the Government of Canada.

Our flagship opens

We open at 700 West Broadway, two blocks from Vancouver General: one of the premier dispensaries in greater Vancouver, and the second licensed medical dispensary in Canada. It is still our flagship.

Adult-use cannabis is legalised

The Cannabis Act comes into force across Canada. From that day everything in a retail store is produced in Canada by Licensed Producers vetted and regulated by the Government of Canada, in plain, child-proof packaging carrying the standardized cannabis symbol and a health-warning message.

Our two licensed stores, at 700 West Broadway and 1286 Robson Street, are open 9 AM to 11 PM every day, with free same-day delivery coming soon across Vancouver, West Vancouver, North Vancouver, Burnaby and Richmond.
